Location: a short drive from La Fortuna Waterfall, Arenal Volcano National Park, hot springs, Lake Arenal, and local restaurants and supermarkets.
Guests have private access to the entire property: full house, pool, gardens, terrace, social areas, and on-site parking – nothing is shared. Check-in is simple and independent; the host is available for any questions during the stay.
The property is surrounded by nature – at night, insects may be attracted to the lights, so keeping doors and windows closed is recommended.

Great views, Air conditioning was a welcome respite, private bathrooms were very modern, garden and terrace were wonderful. the swings outdoor was an unexpected enjoyment. outdoor seating and grill was a plus

I can’t say enough great things about this gem in the Costa Rica rainforest! It’s even nicer than the photos look – a perfect mixture of indoor and outdoor space. AC in rooms worked great and you feel off the grid while still being driving distance to stores. We were traveling with a 3 year old and were nervous about the pool and treehouse but both had safety measures. Treehouse is more like an elevated bridge with high rails and there is a clickable gate on patio that leads to front yard and pool so we felt secure! Washer and dryer were soooo helpful to have and we were greeted with a bottle of wine and wine glasses. Bathrooms were clean and spacious. We felt right at home and it was a great start to our vacation. Yes it’s about a 45 min drive to La Fortuna but we found it more peaceful (birds and roosters etc!) and exactly the vibe we wanted. Great stay and we wish we could have stayed longer!

La estadía en House top of the Hill, fue espectacular, desde la vista que tiene, como las amenidades que la misma tiene, es una casa súper completa con todas las cosas que son necesarias para pasar unas buenas vacaciones! No tengo palabras para describir la estancia en la propiedad de Gabriel. Hermosa, impecable, las fotos no le hacen justicia. Un lugar sumamente tranquilo para compartir en familia y amistades. La casa lo tiene todo para pasar unos días maravillosos. Nuestra primera vez en Costa Rica y quedamos maravillados del lugar. Definitivamente volvería una y mil veces.

Gracias a su excelente ubicación, el segundo día fuimos a unas aguas termales en La Fortuna y disfrutamos del paisaje de la zona.
Gabriel el Anfitrión, estuvo súper pendiente antes de nuestra llegada, durante e incluso una vez que salimos, lo valoramos mucho.
La casa es preciosa y muy espaciosa, es de montaña y tiene detalles en madera que son encantadores. Pudimos disfrutar de la casita del árbol, la salita de afuera, la piscina y un bar en el segundo piso que nos sirvió para recibir el 2025.
Vimos muchas aves de diferentes colores a una pequeña distancia, estuvimos en pleno contacto con la naturaleza.
La cocina está totalmente equipada y en general la casa es muy acogedora.
Ducharse con la ventana del baño abierta y sentir que estás dentro de la montaña en ese momento no tiene precio, hace que la experiencia sea inolvidable.
Recomendamos este alojamiento al 100 %.

Gabriel was a very kind host and made us feel right at home as soon as we arrived. The house is beautiful and big, perfect for big groups. Beautiful birds are seen out the windows, as well as clouds moving over the forest.

We had an amazing stay at Gabriel’s beautiful home! The house itself was very clean and modern, and location was stunning with amazing views of the mountains from multiple rooms and balconies. The pool, garden, and tree house were also great bonuses that we thoroughly enjoyed!

Gabriel was also very helpful with local recommendations and even offered us rides to and from La Fortuna when we were struggling to find rental cars. Gabriel was a very responsive host and made us feel very comfortable during our stay.

Mi estancia en este Airbnb fue simplemente maravillosa. Desde el momento en que llegué, Gabriel, el anfitrión, me brindó una atención excepcional, siempre dispuesto a ayudar y asegurarse de que todo estuviera perfecto. El lugar es muy accesible, se llega fácilmente en automóvil por una carretera asfaltada, lo que añade comodidad al viaje.
Helpful ReviewLa ubicación es ideal, con tours de café, chocolate, paseos a caballo, cataratas y excelentes restaurantes muy cerca. Todo se ve exactamente como en las fotos, sin sorpresas. La piscina es de buen tamaño, pero lo que realmente destaca son las vistas espectaculares a las montañas, que ofrecen amaneceres y atardeceres inolvidables.
La casa del árbol es un refugio de tranquilidad, donde se pueden avistar muchas especies de aves.
La cocina está bien equipada, con todo lo necesario para cocinar cómodamente, y el internet de fibra óptica de alta velocidad funcionó a la perfección para mi trabajo remoto.
