What makes this property unique: spectacular mountain and rainforest views from the terrace and outdoor areas; a private pool with a wooden deck and sun loungers; large, colorful gardens with trails and tropical flowers; a spacious two-story house with air-conditioned bedrooms, an equipped kitchen, a large living room, and a terrace with bar seating; a hand-painted tropical mural unique to this stay; and secure on-site parking.
Location: a short drive from La Fortuna Waterfall, Arenal Volcano National Park, hot springs, Lake Arenal, and local restaurants and supermarkets.
Guests have private access to the entire property: full house, pool, gardens, terrace, social areas, and on-site parking – nothing is shared. Check-in is simple and independent; the host is available for any questions during the stay.
The property is surrounded by nature – at night, insects may be attracted to the lights, so keeping doors and windows closed is recommended.

My family of 5 stayed here for 4 nights. The place was immaculate, exactly as described. You can tell there is a pride of ownership, everything was very well maintained. The neighborhood felt safe and was relatively quiet (motorcycles will be motorcycles). We came in at night and drove right past, but thanks to the instructions we backtracked to the last intersection and then felt silly because the place is quite distinct, even at night! My family with three kids stayed here for the month of February. We had an amazing stay here and didn’t want to leave. The home is special, one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed.
Helpful ReviewThe location is unreal, right next to the Children’s Eternal Rainforest, so you’re basically living in the middle of nature while still feeling totally comfortable and safe.
Within a 5-minute walk from the house we saw both two-toed and three-toed sloths, which was a highlight for our whole family. We also saw tropical birds constantly: toucans, aracaris, and parrots. Birders will love this house.
The neighborhood felt friendly, welcoming and safe, and it’s a super easy base for exploring because you’re only about a 30-minute drive to La Fortuna. If you want a true rainforest vibe without being far from town and activities, this place is a home run.
The hosts live nearby and are genuine, kind, and always willing to help. They offer an amazing farm tour that was a highlight of our travels so far.

We stayed at Gabriel’s house with two teenage girls for 3 nights. The property was amazing, especially the terrace on the second floor. My husband is a bird nerd and he would sit there for hours in the morning. We saw more birds there than on the guided tours in La Fortuna and Monteverde. Two kinds of toucans, hummingbirds, woodpeckers, tanagers. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Gabriel was very responsive to my messages. If we go to La Fortuna again, we will stay at this house again.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Costa Rica! The location is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature. One of the highlights of our trip was seeing some of Costa Rica’s most iconic birds right from the property such an unforgettable experience. The place was comfortable, clean, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. It’s also only about a 40-minute drive to La Fortuna, which made it very convenient for visiting the waterfall and volcano. We would definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting Costa Rica!

Even better than the photos! The house is well-appointed, immaculate, in a beautiful location, the landscaping is lovely and I could have stayed on the deck forever! It was so peaceful there. Watching the birds at the bird feeder was a great way to start the day. Gabriel was extremely helpful and kind. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. We would absolutely stay here again!

Tuvimos una estancia fantástica en la casa de Gabriel en Costa Rica. La casa estaba muy limpia, era de fácil acceso y era exactamente como se describía. A nuestros hijos les encantó la piscina y nosotros disfrutamos mucho del espacio al aire libre en el segundo piso; era el lugar perfecto para relajarnos, observar las aves e incluso ver a las vacas pastando al lado. Recomiendo un recorrido por una finca familiar de café y chocolate que está al final de la calle. ¡Muy auténtica!
Helpful ReviewGabriel fue un anfitrión excelente: muy atento y claro con las instrucciones de llegada y salida, lo que hizo que todo fuera sencillo y sin complicaciones.
Una de las mejores partes de esta estadía fue la ubicación. Está fuera de las zonas turísticas más concurridas, lo que nos permitió disfrutar de una experiencia mucho más tranquila y auténtica. Dicho esto, sin duda le convendrá tener un automóvil, ya que la mayoría de las principales atracciones turísticas se encuentran a entre 20 y 45 minutos.
El aire acondicionado de las habitaciones funcionó muy bien y fue una gran ventaja después de un día explorando.
¡Sin duda recomendaríamos este lugar a cualquiera que busque una estadía relajante en Costa Rica!
